Yes. Any project that adds living space, moves walls, or touches electrical, plumbing, or mechanical systems requires a permit. We handle all permit applications, inspections, and sign-offs as part of your bid.

For most basement and addition projects, no — we contain the work zone with dust barriers and protect your main living areas. Full kitchen or whole-home remodels sometimes benefit from temporary relocation; we will give you an honest recommendation.

Basement finishes and mid-size remodels typically run 8–9 weeks from permit in hand. Additions and new builds take longer depending on scope and weather. You will receive a written schedule before we break ground.
